The Beginning
It began with a single camera and an unyielding curiosity. In 2018, PicPixel Studio opened in Bandra, Mumbai — a raw industrial loft transformed into a theatre of light. Within six months, the first editorial campaign launched in a regional fashion magazine.
What started as a solo endeavour quickly evolved into a collective unified by the pursuit of the extraordinary frame.

Every PicPixel project begins not with a camera, but with a conversation. We invest deeply in understanding the subject — their story, their energy, what they wish to communicate to the world.
Post-production is as important as the shoot itself. Our retouching philosophy is subtle and preservationist — enhancing atmosphere, never erasing reality.
The Philosophy
We believe great photography lives at the intersection of technical mastery and emotional intelligence. Light is our language, but feeling is our grammar. Every PicPixel image is designed to make you stop — to breathe differently for a moment — and simply feel.
The Future
In 2025, we launch our first gallery exhibition — a 40-print retrospective spanning seven years of work. We are also developing an educational programme to mentor emerging photographers across India.
